After coming to the age of reason, Oriel took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born into a rich family. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Althaea grew up listening to her father's many stories. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Althaea took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
