History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, River was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. Her red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Alice was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away.

History: He was born into a rich family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
