Personality: She is a Layabout first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Recently the stress of being a Layabout has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and she seems to be bored by most things

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears tattered old clothes. Her auburn hair is heavily combed to the right. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: This malnourished man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Seamstress. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears professional attire. Her chestnut hair is knotted and matted. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.

Personality: Pearl wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Pearl hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Pearl and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and many brigands want her driven away
