History: Hubert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

This copper eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She got into the Shipwright business at a young age. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
