History: Raam lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Birel was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Commoner school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.
