Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shoemaker business.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, River grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 6'3" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She tends to wear a green poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her white eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Sekhmet lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing her hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult
