Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 3'0". He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, and his gloved hand is found clutching a pickaxe. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His hazel eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chay grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy silver stubble. He wears a tight fitting blue shirt and pants. He has a hunchback. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Wrenn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Rogue school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her blue eyes peer out from beneath her Stetson brown hat.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and money/treasure

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Hunter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. She has shaved her head bald. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Cumpen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cumpen studied abroad. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cumpen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cumpen. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
