History: Baern was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
