History: The child of a Sage, who enjoyed hunting, Bathin was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Bathin took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Abalaba was born the youngest of three triplets. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.
