History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Balifra wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Locksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and further expansion of business

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Tatyan never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and wishes to resurrect an old love
