As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Tatyan was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Tatyan decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it
