Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She tends to her Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Soapmaker, and she later adopted a second son.
