History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. After coming to the age of reason, Nim took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dilettante.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Masseuse, but he got bored and became a Apothecary. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She is a Body Guard first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She got into the Body Guard business at a young age. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
