Shedinn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the north to a Merchant, Korfel learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and expand his business

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Oppah was born the youngest of three triplets. She worked as a nervous Stableman and found it very stressful. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Stableman, and she later adopted a second son.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Expand his business; and wants to open a new tavern
