Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Masseuse kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Five was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born in the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is content

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gardain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was a Baker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
