Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. She keeps her brown hair in a flapper bob. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: Jasmine was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Barber. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her first spouse was a Roofer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she is greedy

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her blonde hair is thinning but still full. Her eyes are green and catlike.
Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Mayor. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.
History: Wella was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Description: He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a trident, but if one is not available he will default to his spear. He carries a battered trident and tarnished spear as well. His white hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Qualen will drive conversation. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Qualen was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Qualen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: 3'1" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.
History: Ranala was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family; and regain custody of her son
