History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rinn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Laborer. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Laborer.
