Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his youth he was a Bookbinder, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raymond fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bowyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Solomon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Dyer and found it very stressful. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
