History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Dilettante soon after.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Layabout for the past few years.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
