History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This tall, slender woman is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her hair is long and blonde with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small grey clips. Her eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Vicky was born the youngest of three triplets. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: He wears a fancy tan suit, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'0" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears long strands of amethyst and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. She has a very tight haircut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has never given up on her writing dream.
