History: Ranala lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Barendd isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
