History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Through the years after Art was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Art's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: She got into the Barber business at a young age. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
