Personality: Ratanák is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the south. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She has all her life been fascinated with dancing.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student she started as a Stylist, but she got bored and became a Priest. She has achieved small success as a Priest.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a spear on his belt. His white hair is heavily combed to the right. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in spear use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. His head has been shaved. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Thradal was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
