History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She tends to her Slave Trader job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
