She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
