Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: The child of a Jeweler, who enjoyed hunting, Umpen was taken on many hunting expeditions. Umpen liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Fulbar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: Merihim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Gifted from a young age, Malquis studied abroad. Malquis was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. After a long history of fighting, Malquis and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
