Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Detective born in the past three hundred years. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in the east to a Detective, Gesrethe learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Gesrethe abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Marigold grew up listening to her father's many stories. Marigold liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born in the north to a Knight, Dadalan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dadalan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Ghesh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to get a good night's sleep
