History: Tûgog hails from a village terrorized by giants. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Tûgog began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Erias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Gifted from a young age, Avelina studied abroad. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against illithids
