History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Tanner soon after.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father.
