History: Efferil lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Naill is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Naill liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student she started as a Barkeep, but she got bored and became a Beggar. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Beggar for the past few years.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
