Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: Born in the east to a Junk Dealer, Kallista learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Kallista abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Description: He is renowned for his bright red suits and hats. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly maces and longswords. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Borun was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Borun decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
