History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Gurdis was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gurdis's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gurdis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Zaffrab was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Zaffrab grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Zaffrab. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He's also a talented Roofer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. A true patriot, Ilde would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ilde was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Ilde reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
