Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He wears his golden hair down. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing his hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears skinny pants and wears a black and grey robe with the hood down, marred by sweets. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Akoth was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Herbalist born in the past three hundred years. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the east to a Herbalist, Shautha learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
