History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Jacoba was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Braak grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Braak. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
