Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Calcitro embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: Standing 6'6", this man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her blonde hair is wavy and long. Her eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Description: She is typically in her Tanner uniform, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'2" when asserting herself. Her black hair is heavily combed to the left. Her black eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Prosperine hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wants to open a new tavern
