History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Makaria was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
