History: Robert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Robert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
