When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adelaide grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adelaide. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vanchu fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.
