History: Shifting hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Shifting was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants.

He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
