History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. After coming to the age of reason, Volen took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and to be a banker again

Description: This man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mason. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mason, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Cumpen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a rival would like him out of the picture
