Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. The war was a terrible time for him, and Naeris does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Naeris was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She dresses like a well dressed Soapmaker does. She has slicked back chestnut hair. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Grigi grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Grigi. She has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Tod liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Paela was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: Gnomish compassion; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
