Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a green tunic with blue highlights, and long red pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her rusty crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has red eyes and a green hat with a blue feather.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. He has dyed his greying blonde hair a little too much giving a sharp blonde color. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: She is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. She carries with her a set of hammers, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She wears a broad hat to cover her moderate length gray fur. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Cloud lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he desires power and/or immortality
