He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Personality: He is a Sellsword first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Valafar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
