Description: He wears a blue coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly hammers and daggers. His long brown hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: He wears a yellow vest and prefers black and pastel shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'8" when asserting himself. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Miles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a Ruler, her father struggled to pay the bills. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has worked as a Sailor like her father before her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: Manea hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She takes great joy in being the best Dyer in town.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arnold grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts
