History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heian was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Eberk was born the youngest of three triplets. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
