History: Jane was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and balancing her hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She has achieved small success as a Cartwright.
