History: Barendd hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Matilda was born with her father's beautiful face. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now owns her own business.
