Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she wears professional attire. Her black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. A true patriot, Nedda would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When Nedda reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Nedda was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Shifting lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Shifting was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shifting's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and doesn't want to be a carpenter and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and balancing her hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult
