Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Alvyn isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alvyn grew up listening to his mother's many stories. After coming to the age of reason, Alvyn took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Banker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Hobart and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Priest. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
