History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Korfel never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She worked as a nervous Courier and found it very stressful. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Kelter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Seamstress, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family; and to end his boredom

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
